I am a multidisciplinary artist that focuses on women's experiences, local food insecurity, as well as my personal struggles relating to grief and loss. My main areas of focus are sculpture and print making but I have been trying painting as of late.

This piece was made to stimulate discussion about food insecurity within my community. The reality of the situation is that many people rely on canned and processed foods to sustain themselves and through this painting I wanted to confront the viewer. To encourage them to think critically about what they consume and daily food waste.
