About Artist

I'm a very lighthearted and go with the flow type of person, and I believe my art reflects that. I tend to stay away from deep, heavy topics and focus on art that I think will make people smile.

Dance

Art is innately so subjective, I think it's interesting to play with that subjectivity. I did this painting in an intro painting class, where the assignment was to look at culturally significant sculptures from history, and paint them in an abstracted way. My painted interpretation forces the viewers to look at the figures through a whole new lens, and allows viewers to make up their own interpretation of the work.
