Artist Biography

I am currently in my fourth year of Visual Studies, but I have been drawing ever since I can remember. I usually prefer to work with charcoal, and I am quite interested in realism. Art has always played a great role in my life, especially as a shy girl; it started as a form of entertainment, then quickly turned into self-expression and a form of communication.

Artist Statement

My biggest inspirations are my family and friends; I am very grateful that I am constantly surrounded by many wonderful and beautiful people throughout my life. They continue to encourage me every day and see the beauty of life no matter how hard it can be. Through my portraits, I want to express the stories of everyday people and the kindness that exists within them.
