Gabrielle Arrizza

 Artist Statement

Gabrielle has lived in Calgary most of her life, emigrating from Italy in the early 1960s. Being rooted in European culture has provided her with a global context for all aspects of her life. Her profound interest in people and all aspects of social activity was formalized by the completion of undergraduate and graduate degrees in Sociology; her thesis was about professional artists in Calgary. “I want to define and live my best creative life.”
