I was born and raised in Calgary, and am a recent graduate of the Visual Studies program at the University of Calgary. As a photographer, I am interested in the world around me and how capturing it in different ways can change its meaning.

By compiling four diagonal photographs, I create a different view of the familiar world around me.

ARTIST STATEMENT
I capture and edit photos as a means to reimagine the spaces that I inhabit. With this work, I display mundane details of the world around me to create an abstracted materialization of the places that hold significance in my life. I aim to inspire viewers to pay closer attention to, and to rethink, the often-overlooked details of their environments.
