Kasper Baltazar Jankowski

Artist Biography

Kasper is an artist who has dabbled in just about every art medium, while taking a special interest in drawing and only recently delving into the art of oil painting. The artist intends to continue to improve and refine his work as he joins the art world with the intent to create works of art by bringing his imaginings into reality.

Artist statement

I take inspiration from both my surroundings and from within, learning about the world around me, taking it in, and imagining new fantastical worlds, which remain recognizable but are altered in some way that brings a more surreal touch to the works I create. I believe that the inspiration for the artwork I want to create largely came from witnessing classical and surreal art and wondering how well these two far ends of the art world can blend.

How did you start yor art practice?

I started creating art at a very young age, having been largely self-taught and having a focus on line drawing in the beginning. I began branching out and trying out other art mediums as I began to gradually focus on the more artistic side of education, eventually delving into visual studies to better develop myself as an artist.
