Tasia Selimos

Contained

This artwork is about the pandemic and mental health. Many times during the lockdowns, I felt isolated and contained from the outside world. In creating this print, I wanted to express the importance of mental health and the act of being kind and caring toward others.

TasiA’s Practice

My art practice began when I was ten and struggled to express my thoughts verbally. Painting on a canvas allowed me to express ideas that language could not. Now I continue to use art to communicate my unique view of the world, hoping to connect with others or bring awareness to a particular situation.
