About Artist

Victoria Maria Zaba is a Polish Canadian oil painter and digital illustrator who is currently completing a combined degree in Visual Studies, Greek and Roman Studies and a minor in architecture. Her passion for art was heavily influenced by her mother, who painted with oils herself and brought her to many museums regularly. As an artist, Zaba has grown a particular intrest in the themes of religion, mythology, and ancient history. Not only is she interested in studying religion and religious art academically, but she is also interested in contributing to the visual conversation by creating pieces that experiment with the themes and characters from these stories.
